Sintra Mix-Ind® Serbia

Innovative air distribution system that provides an advanced and energy-efficient solution for new or existing high-ceiling production and distribution facilities. The technology is based on high-induction Pulsers® (perforated ventilation ducts) that move the entire air mass within the space, enabling controlled circulation and maximum destratification throughout the treated area.

Sintra Mix-Ind® is a unique air distribution system based on the principle of pulsation

A technology developed over 40 years of continuous research and proven through implementation in more than 15,000 installations worldwide.

MIX-IND systems consist of perforated ducts developed using numerous patented technologies. These systems offer significantly superior energy efficiency and comfort performance compared to the most advanced conventional air diffusion systems. MIX-IND solutions not only ensure the highest level of efficiency but can often reduce the total cost of the entire HVAC installation.

MIX-IND® perforated ducts are known as PULSERS®, which—unlike other diffuser systems—create a “pressure field” along their axis, enabling the movement of the entire ambient air mass at the desired velocity.

Energy Savings

Sintra systems offer a significant advantage over conventional systems thanks to patented air distribution technology that ensures even airflow without drafts. Due to optimal energy consumption and reduced air resistance in the ducts, the system uses significantly less electrical power.

Additional benefits of the Sintra Mix-Ind® system

Compared to conventional air distribution systems, the SINTRA MIX-IND system offers the following benefits:

  • Homogeneous temperature in the space within ±1°C;
  • Increased comfort with optimal control of airflow speed in the treated zone;
  • Exceptional destratification, especially in tall buildings, even over 60m;
  • No need for exhaust ducts, lower pressure drops on fans, reduced maintenance costs;
  • No need for duct draining / no condensation;
  • Applicable in both high and low buildings with consistent performance;
  • Long throw distance of supply air;
  • Optimization of investment and operational costs.

The system’s operation is personalized thanks to “space diagnostics” that identify user needs. In addition to the well-known advantages of the MIX-IND® system, the new generation systems with advanced pulsion technology are the only ones that can guarantee the following additional performance:

  • Achieving the required air conditions with high temperature regulation precision of ±1°C, using significantly less air volume at the air handling unit (AHU).
  • Variable airflow from 20% to 100% at AHU fans without loss of performance.
  • Energy savings of up to 80%, as fans operate only as much as needed to meet the required conditions in the space.
  • Reduced filter replacement costs due to filtering a smaller volume of air.
  • Higher filter efficiency and performance thanks to lower air velocity.
  • Variable comfort: a new concept allowing users to easily select and adjust airflow speed in the occupied zone at any time according to current needs.
  • Maximum operational safety in case of failure of one AHU or rooftop unit.

Frequently Asked Questions about
Sintra Mix-Ind® tehnologiji

How much more expensive is this system compared to conventional air distribution systems?

The Sintra MIX-IND system reduces the required installation costs compared to conventional air distribution systems. Its energy efficiency, lower installation and operating costs contribute to long-term savings. This technology eliminates the need for exhaust air ducts, which further reduces costs.

The Sintra MIX-IND system can operate efficiently in spaces over 40 meters high, thanks to its air pulsation technology. This system enables complete destratification, eliminating temperature differences between the upper and lower parts of the space, ensuring an uniform temperature with a deviation of ±1°C.

Yes, the MIX-IND system can be integrated with existing heating and cooling systems. Its high-induction PULSERS® perforated duct technology allows controlled air distribution, whether used with new or existing HVAC systems.

Yes, all our installations in the region are available for visits by appointment, so you can see their efficiency firsthand. We arrange direct contacts with users who can share their experiences with the system’s operation and benefits.
